Artist Felice Varini Creates Illusory Murals By Graffiti

Swiss artist Felice Varini has dedicated 40 years of his career to mastering the graphic technique of anamorphosis distortion, a distorted projection or drawing that appears normal when viewed from a particular point or with a suitable mirror or lens. His most recent work features large-scale illusory murals across the La Cité Radieuse in Marseilles designed by Le Corbusier. These art works, however, are painted aluminium pieces due to the highly treasured status of La Cité Radieuse, and therefore the art pieces are not permanent.
