Chris Labrooy Parks Porsches Wherever He Wants

Image-maker/illustrator Chris Labrooy is a big fan of cars, and “drawing cars was also a huge passion” as he would “draw at least one side elevation of a car per day”. He has shown his abilities to “stretch” or to “tangle” cars before, and this time he has allowed himself to park the iconic 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS wherever he wants. In his “911” series, he has placed these classic Porsches in various surreal locations such as swimming pool, palm tress, modern houses etc. “I use 3D and CGI tools, as they enable me to pursue a hyper-real aesthetic that has more in common with photography than illustration,” says Labrooy in an interview with CNN Style. These hyper-realistic images have shown us that Chris Labrooy is truly a master in manipulating revved-up cars and realities.
